Taste of Fall

With the weather today giving us a small teasing taste of fall, we decided to celebrate by giving Cheyenne her favorite fall treats

Molasses oat horse cookies!

Cheyenne very much agreed with Hazel’s idea

Paprika Puppy Walks

 Our sweet red golden retriever Paprika is due with goldenoodle puppies within the next two weeks. We are beyond ready to welcome our last litter of puppies for the fall to Yesteryear Acres. Hazel has taken over Paprika's prenatal exercise routine, and Paprika is a HUGE fan of the program.

Time for another walk Paprika!

Little Harvester Hazel

 Hazel Bea is seriously the very best little helper anyone could ever ask for! No matter the task, she is always asking how to do something and learn how to do it for herself. Today we had a few cherry tomatoes to pick out of the garden. With Mr. Y Acres down again this summer from surgeries, the garden isn't what it usually is, BUT it is still producing for us! 

So off we set!

Moon Nights

Besides my Dad- Mr. Yesteryear Acres- multiple knee surgeries, one of the other main reasons productivity in the studio has taken a back seat is this cutie...

Look at that sweet face! 

Thatcher is TWO months old now and is a smiling delight... UNTIL duh dunnn duuuuh..."The Moon Witching Hour"

Now I am zero complaining, because he is the most chill baby ever and is so good about being in my carrier or his bouncer ALL day while I work and take care of the animals and Hazel. He is so patient and kind and I appreciate him saving all that sassy energy until after Hazel is in bed. With his 'Witching Hour' being as loud as it is, I started walking in our driveway up and down the hill to get him to calm down (sorry neighbors!) and keep Hazel asleep. And BOY have we been rewarded! Just look at this moon!

The moon was so pretty this night, I stayed outside way longer than Thatcher was upset! Just walking and enjoying the moon

I am so happy how well these pictures turned out!

Hello Moon!

As you can see... the 'Moon Witching Hour' is progressing with the moon cycles... and it's lasting a bit longer and longer each time

We are a bit tired over here, but always getting our steps in by the kindness of the moon

But who could ever be upset with this faaaace
