We worked hard to see this past Saturday's solar eclipse. We had a very cloudy and rainy Saturday AND I forgot to order solar eclipse glasses. Our chances for viewing were definitely stacked against us. We went outside just about every 20-30 minutes only to see a completely cloudy sky. Right at the peak of the solar eclipse - the clouds parted and we were able to take a few pictures with our phone.

Our clear sky only lasted a few minutes but we did get to "see" the eclipse happening! I think I shall start planning now for the April 2024 eclipse and get those glasses ready. Can't wait to see that one!!!!
