2 Hour Delay...2 Hours Extra sleep!

OOOH thank you Mr. Winter. It was so nice of you to make a reappearance this weekend.  You made my daughter's plane delayed so she could stay home longer, you made my backyard all pretty and white, you covered up all the mud and dirty yucky puddles and you made the roads WAY too slippery for school to start on time. Everyone got an extra 2 hours of sleep this morning! It was heavenly. Even the Naval Academy called for a 2 hour delay! It was a gift of sleep for all and an extra nice way to start the day. Everyone was smiling as the happiness of our fun weekend was still with us.  As soon as the kids were out the door, I got to work on the website and uploaded all the new photos.  We have brand new little babies:

The house is full of sweet little happy puppies and well rested family members and a beautiful snow covered world outside. I have homemade Oatmeal Honey rolls rising in the oven and Cream of Yukon Gold Potato Soup simmering on the stove. I think we are doing Winter - Take 2 - just right!
