This morning we started Mr. Yesteryear Acres day with a big Sunday morning Father's Day breakfast. The menu........Fresh squeezed orange juice, stone ground grits, sunny side up eggs, bacon and homemade fresh buttermilk biscuits with just made strawberry jam. Yes. It was that good. The rest of the day has been filled with lots of work but tonight we are hoping for a campfire dinner and a little time fishing and hanging out around the pond. Mr. Yesteryear Acres definitely deserves a little time off. He is the best father and the best husband and well - he is just the best! I am so lucky and my children are so lucky to have him in our lives. He makes every day special and full of laughter and love. He is a constant presence of strength and support and guidance for our children and never hesitates to show them how much he loves them.
