My sweet horse Buckwheat died today. We are all incredibly sad. Buckwheat was my childhood dream come true. She was the best horse and looking out at our field will never be the same without her.
Buckwheat joined our family on this exact day 21 years ago.
As soon as she arrived, Austin brought Buckwheat and her colt to his fort so they could play together. Buckwheat approved.
We all loved Buckwheat
and she loved us right back.
Back scratches from Mr. Yesteryear Acres were her favorite
She gave us lots of hugs throughout the years
and wonderful rides through the field
She was a best friend kind of horse
I am grateful for every moment
and will love her forever.
