Heading West

Quite a few tears were shed yesterday morning as we watched our son pull out of the driveway. His truck was packed with everything he needs for the summer except for his beloved Doodle doggies and maybe a family member or two.  We will miss him so much.  Our summer won't be the same without him but we are all so excited for the experiences that await him.

Our son sent us a few pictures of his drive out west

"Land spreading out so far and wide"

He said the drive was beautiful 

and he loved the endless stretches of farmland

know we miss you, are proud of you, and will be crossing off the days until you come back home again.
