Just a week and a bit ago our kale in the garden looked like this…
One VERY chilly kale stalk
But as the sun started warming again, it turns out our kale was actually surviving in their own makeshift igloos!
All our plants have teeny sweet kale shoots starting to grow
Which means we are still harvesting from our summer garden in February!
This guy is flash frozen and ready for transplant!
Oh I Kale Survive!
