Sorry for the Arctic Blast

Sunday night I felt so sad about my son returning back to school. I wasn't ready. I didn't want winter break to be over. I really don't want his senior year to be over.  I don't want him to leave home.  I don't want my nest to be empty.  I threw myself on the mercy of Mother Nature to provide a snow day so I could have a little more time with my son.  Well Mother Nature granted my wish and then some.  My son has been home a lot this week!  School has been delayed and cancelled and I have had lots of time with him which is great.  The only slightly small insignificant complaint I have is......IT IS REALLY COLD!  We have spent all our time together putting on arctic gear and shoveling walkways and taking doodle doggies outside and then quickly back inside.  I guess I wasn't too clear on my snow day criteria.  I was kind of hoping for a beautiful snowfall.  Where everything is coated in white and it looks like a snowglobe and all is peaceful and wonderful.  I didn't really request a snow day where it is so cold my hair freezes into icicles and my face hurts.  I apologize for not being more clear in my request.  I am very sorry for the Arctic Blast and hereby rescind my request. Dear Mother Nature - you can return to our regularly scheduled winter program now.  Thank you.
