Too Tired Thursday

 Today I am T I R E D! It is hard work being a caretaker to animals AND humans!  The around the clock care has me feeling a bit like this......

One Week Post Surgery

 Mr. Yesteryear Acres continues to make improvements with his mobility every day. Today marks one week post surgery!!! 

So Grandpa - you need one of these to walk?

Mr. Yesteryear Acres is definitely making huge strides but with all that progress he also has some significant swelling issues. His physical therapist was concerned enough to send us to see the surgeon today to make sure everything was okay.  Mr. Yesteryear Acres got a full work up and all is well but the surgeon insisted on a lot more time spent with his leg elevated.

Hazel said, I will help with that!

Guess we have all the bases covered!!!!

We Had a Kale of a Good Time

 With everyone gathering for another big family dinner - we had to decide which delicious veggie to harvest from the Yesteryear Acres Garden. We had a clear winner!

William says, How about some Kale!

 We are officially at the 48 hour post surgical mark and Mr. Yesteryear Acres is doing great!!!!
