Thankfulness

 As always, Thanksgiving continues to be my favorite holiday. I love the food.  I love being surrounded by family.  I love the Turkey day festivities.  Most of all I love Thankfulness. There is nothing better than a day dedicated to giving thanks.  I am grateful for the many blessings in my life and I love sharing those sentiments with the people I love the most. Every year we take turns going around the table asking everyone to share what they are most thankful for. Each year always proves to share a similar sentiment.

We are thankful for a house full of people that we love.

Amen.

 Happy Day Before Turkey Day!!!

We better hurry and get our recess in before the pie baking begins!

I think the baking has aready started!

Sure smells good!

Is that a hint of pumpkin in the air?

You smell like pecan pie!

I bet it is sooooooo yummy!

I heard they made pumpkin treats for the doggies!!!

Hazel!  Can we have puppy pumpkin day treats?

You sure can puppies!

Do you want a leaf?

 Hazel is getting very good at helping do our puppy pictures.

First task is to call all the puppies for picture time

Then the most important thing is to ask

"Do you want a leaf?"

It is particularly helpful to put the leaf in front of the puppy face

It makes for the best photos LOL

Next we have to make SURE the puppy doesn't want a leaf

I have leaves for puppies

And after Hazel asks every single puppy if they want a leaf

several times

The only job left is cuddle time!!!!!
