Floody Mess

 Late yesterday afternoon we had 2 inches of rain fall in less than 30 minutes.

WHAT A MESS

During the worst of the storm the water rose to the second tree

What remains is a big "floody" mess

We will be on clean up crew all day today

So much mud and water

We hope this afternoon's predicted thunderstorm stays away!

From Muddy Soggy Yesteryear Acres

Don't (k)NEED that

 Mr. Yesteryear Acres had a good 3 week post-op appointment with the joint surgeon.  His knee is healing nicely. He can officially say goodbye to his four hour daily continuous passive movement knee equipment. Mr. Yesteryear Acres was also cleared for swimming which definitely made him smile.

We will have to go back in 3 more weeks to see if he will need this knee manipulated as that procedure really helped his other knee.

Basil Doodle

 Sweet Basil Doodle has brought joy, happiness and smiles to thousands of college students and preschool children.  He was certified as a Therapy Dog with Therapy Dog International at a very young age and has been in service bringing love wherever he goes for the past 14 years.

His dedicated tail wagging devotion has touched

 the lives of his family, friends, neighbors, and everyone he meets.  

Basil is loved by all and brings joy everywhere his big heart and wagging tail go.  Thanks for making the world a better place Basil!

Caturday Keyboard

 Sometimes I wonder just how quickly I could type if I did not possess a Caturday Keyboard. What is a Caturday Keyboard you ask?

It is a keyboard that doesn't quite fit on your lap

There are constant obstacles impeding your typing proficiency

And it is very important not to disturb the obstacles

or the keyboard extensions!!!!!

Posey PUPdate

 Ginger's Turquoise Collar Girl - now named Posey is doing such a great job with her puppy training. Her human mom wrote to tell us that Posey has gone 6 days without an accident in the house and is being such a good girl with her crate manners. She is even doing great on her daily walks. Posey still has some puppy zoomies in the morning and before bed but as soon as she settles down her favorite place is always by her mom's side.
