A Little Batty Studio Sunday

Life in the Y Acres Studio is still on hold so William and his Mama have provided the color and creativity this week. Abigail and William worked on a fun spooky craft to welcome the first day of fall.

Start with coffee filters and lots of colors

This pair looks like the aurora and the night sky

Give them all a little trim to give the coffee filters nice points

Add a black clothes-pin and Voila! Beautiful DIY bats!

Mini Me Caturday

WELP.... It has finally happened. Hazel is officially a small version of me and I just don't know if I have it in me to be like my own mother and stay strong. I heard my very first "Mommy can we keep her?" and I want to say YES because I too always ask my mom "Can't we keep this one?!" And I am much older than two.

Everyone meet Elsa's little girl Devon Rex kitten

Hazel is absolutely enamored with her

And so is the kitten

Hazel laughed hysterically when she climbed into the slipper like Kipper the dog.

Someone tell Hazel and I NO before this kitten finds her way into Hazel's toddler bed slipper and all!

Getting Ready for Spooky Season Fri-Yay

 It is no secret that my sister LOVES Halloween and everything Spooky Season. She made the most wonderful "HILLoween" extravaganza for the kids last year, where they ran all over her huge hill 'Trick or Treating' to the various hidden stations around her property. Colton is already talking about HILLoween at Auntie Abigail's house! We all can't wait! With so much to prepare for the festivities coming up in the next month, Abigail has already begun to spookify her house.

Today she took her family to the pumpkin patch for a fun Fri-Yay outing!

Oh my GOURD! Spooky Season is upon us!

A Very Important Question

Scout's puppies were happily playing when...

They decided they had a very important question for me.
