Thankful to be Always Amelia

 I am so incredibly thankful to work at Yesteryear Acres and be with my family each and every day. It is a dream job come true and I am so grateful to do what I do. One of my favorite parts is my small business, "Always Amelia LLC" where I get to spend extra time training our sweet doodle puppies for our wonderful furever families. Every puppy is unique and I feel so lucky to be able to work with puppies from the moment they are born until they are ready to go home. Being with the puppies so much I get the opportunity to really understand each puppy and their little personalities, which helps me set everything up for a successful training schedule. But best of all ... I love the amazing connections and friendships that forms with all my wonderful puppy families! I love puppies so much and I am so thankful to be a small part in their big happy tail wagging lives.

Thankful for the Milestone

 We found out in August that Yesteryear Acres was selected to win the 20 Year Milestone Award from the Conway Center for Family Business.  We are thankful to receive this award as a testament to our 20+ years of Tail Wagging Devotion. The award ceremony was held today!

Thankful for Hot Cocoa

 These chilly November days have me thinking of just one thing.... Hot Cocoa!!!!!!!  Nothing feels better than a nice hot mug of cocoa loaded with melted marshmallows to help defrost those fingers and toes!

I think it is time to head back inside

and warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate!!!!!

Thankful for Sunday Morning Biscuits

I like to make our Sundays a little more special by baking homemade buttermilk biscuits. Who doesn't loves warm biscuits fresh from the oven? It makes our Sunday mornings last a little longer.

And while everyone is happily eating their breakfast - a wonderful thing happens. Our busy life is put on hold and we take time to review the events of the past week, talk about what's to come and reflect on the many thankful moments that transpired. 

And while I am always thankful for Sunday Morning Biscuits...

I am even more thankful for the love that surrounds them!

Thankful our Holiday Fabrics are here!

Our Holiday fabrics took a little longer to get here than expected.  The Covid situation has made shipping on fabric and other materials become extremely delayed.  We are just so thankful that our fabric orders are arriving now! Time to get busy sewing for the holiday season!

Thankful for the Photo Shoot

 Every Friday our older daughter sends us a baby bump picture update so we can watch her little baby grow.  It is definitely the highlight of my week!  Today not only did I receive the traditional weekly photo but also I was able to do an entire maternity photo shoot! I promise I did my best to only share my favorite favorite favorite photos.  I will admit - it took me quite a while to narrow it down as I now have an entire album of the mommy-to-be!!!!

We are so thankful for this little miracle and can't wait to meet him!
