Y Acres Studio - Do It For The 'Gram

 We were so excited to receive a box full of goodies and inspiration from Moda Fabrics. It's a Quilt Market in a box! Due to Covid there is no actual quilt market this year so Moda Fabrics sent their quilt market booth to us. Inside the box was one request - to share our opening of the box with them on Instagram so they can see all our bright and shining faces. Here is our #ModaMarketInABox Instragram photo shoot.

Pumpkin Picking

 We ended up with a few volunteer pumpkins in the 

Yesteryear Acres Garden.

It was really thoughtful of Mother Nature to provide our Fall decorations!

We harvested them right before the frost

Ready for the wash cycle

Now comes the hard part

What shall I carve into my pumpkin this year?

I'm not sure yet but I know it will be BOOtiful!!!!

All the Colors of the Wind

 The sun came out today!  We have had dreary dreary wet cold weather so today's sunshine filled day was a real treat!

Time to walk in a wonderland full of color

Everyone loves an autumn stroll!

A kaleidoscope of colors to cherish

Definitely the favorite part of every day

Nothing like recharging your soul with Autumn's beauty!

Everyone needs a moment of "ahhhhhhh"

Doesn't that feel better?

From golden yellows

to scarlet reds

to the peaceful blues by the pond

I am grateful for every color filled day.

I love it all so much

but my very favorite is

walking through all the colors of the wind

 Well the hard freeze definitely hit us

Hey!  This grass is crunchy!

Poor frosty peppers

Bye Bye Green Beans

At least we have a few cold loving veggies still thriving!

And some of the tomatillos made it!

We are going to have the last of the broccoli tonight as we say thanks for the best garden season ever. Bye Bye Yesteryear Acres Garden.  See you next Spring!
