Farmer Agnes

 Thank goodness we have help in the Yesteryear Acres Garden.  Our veggies are still coming on strong. At this rate, we will be picking every day until Jack Frost arrives!

Looks like another batch of Eggplant Parmigiana needs to happen!

Our late summer green beans are soooo yummy!

They are perfect with our orange cherry tomatoes and homemade aioli!

We have really been enjoying thinly sliced raw beets in our homemade yogurt tzatziki sauce

The Last of the Dog Days of Summer

 Today was a beautiful late summer day. 

It only seemed right to celebrate it by having a splash!

Who wants to play water fetch?

Looks like everyone does!!!

The Growing Tails of Agnes the Poodle: Friend to All

Agnes the Poodle is now 4.5 months old and is living each day to the fullest!

She is the best Yesteryear Acres Garden helper

AND the best Y Acres Studio muse

Agnes LOVES to help train puppies at Camp Always Amelia!

Her favorite part is showing the new trainees the pond

"Look at all these fish!!!"

ANNND how to pull ALL of the toys out of the toy box

Agnes also LOVES to be brushed and then show off how cute she is

"Look Mom, we are adorable!"

I think her favorite day was celebrating Ernie's 3rd birthday...

She was more than willing to lend a helping paw in the celebrations

It is exhausting being as cute as a panda bear

Above all, no matter where I go or what I do...

I always have a smiling face nearby!

Agnes is the happiest puppy who is a best friend...

Sharing the Love

 I love getting updates on our Yesteryear Acres Doodles.  Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing our Doodle Doggies sharing the love!

This little puppy in the bottom photo went home one year ago.

Now Brinkley is all grown up as you can see in the top photo and just celebrated his "gotcha" day. Brinkley's human mommy picked him up from Yesteryear Acres last September and couldn't wait to start training him to share love, comfort and happiness. Brinkley said "Woof" and said, 

"Let the tail wagging devotion begin!"

He shares his kind soul and a gentle tail wag wherever he goes.

Thanks for sharing the love Brinkley!!!!

In and Out

 Our Doodle puppies learn to play within the boundaries of a play yard and they also learn to play outside the boundaries with tons of free time. Both are really fun and both teach valuable lessons.
