Happy Birthday White Rabbit

Hazel woke up this morning and declared it was White Rabbit's birthday. And since it was White Rabbit's birthday, she NEEDED to wear her purple bunny cupcake shirt AND have special hair. With clearly so much to do for a party I had NO idea was occurring, I set off to fulfill this mornings imaginative wishes.

Purple Bunny shirt, check. Special hair, check. Sunglasses, check.

I finally got Hazel and the Birthday Rabbit downstairs to have Hazel declare that White Rabbit really really wanted to play with Thatcher's activity center while... 

Hazel had breakfast at the big table in the big chair

And one must never forget the birthday oranges. 

I have a feeling that White Rabbit is really just Hazel wanting to do these things hmmm?

"Silly ole Mommy! It's for my rabbit. Isn't she so clever?!" 

Who can argue with that 2 year old logic?

Wish me luck with White Rabbit's Birthday... She sure has an awful lot of demands for such a little rabbit.

UnbeLEAFably Cute Caterpillars

This weekend William had a very important question for Hazel

"Want to make Caterpillars with me?"

And of course Hazel's answer was "Yes! 'Lillum'Yes!" 

And so Caterpillar Studio Sunday commenced

With a little help from Auntie Abigail, the caterpillars were ready to go on their outdoor adventure

Time to gather leaves

And string them on the pipe cleaner

Yes! Just like that. Great job William! 

Add more leaves to make a hungrier caterpillar

"I see more leaves over here!"

"Oh wait! I need that leaf right there!"
