Hazel keeps asking "Can we go to a bakery Mommy?". I LOVE how much this girl loves baked goods as much as I do! - But with how busy we have been lately, there hasn't been a good time where we could sneak in a bakery adventure. So I decided that a late dinner with lots of 'Mommy and Me' baking time was better than a timely dinner and my little sous chef and I got to work.
The menu: Banana Waffles!
Hazel was an excellent banana masher
And listened to all the directions so very well
Her favorite part was the "Mix mix mix mix mix it Mama!"

Sometimes I forget she isn't even two and a half yet. She is just so sweet and empathetic. I am so very proud of her every single day
Voila! Hazel's Banana waffle sticks with a strawberry cream cheese dipping sauce
Survey says.... "MMMM That's YUMMY Mommy! Thank you!"
Of which I reminded her that SHE made it and I got to thank her for dinner. She was quite pleased with herself (as she should be)

I also have it on good authority that Thatcher thoroughly enjoyed the banana waffles second hand and we all ended the night with the happiest of tummies!
