I feel like life lately have been full of so many little moments that feel incredibly important. From watching Hazel play with the puppies and kittens, watching Thatcher and Hazel bond - the other day she gave him HER favorite blankie when he was crying and I started to drip tears like a tsunami as I watched them together-, seeing Thatcher grow and change before my very eyes. Every smile he gives me feel extra precious, knowing it is the last baby smile at this age I will ever have as the next day he already feels bigger- to all the in between "things to do" moments. They feel BIG. They feel important. And I am so grateful to sit with them and KNOW these are the moments that make a life great. I am also grateful on a more shallow level that I have a camera always on me to help me catch the moments that make my heart flutter with love. I just want to capture everything and never let go. I have one digital picture frame in my house that I can upload our pictures to and I make sure it is current every Sunday before I go to bed. Hazel loves talking about all the pictures and I love being able to go back and tell her how I felt in each picture. "Mommy was so excited when you held your spoon all by yourself for the first tine!" etc.
I can't wait to add these moments into our home memories: Walking to the horse pasture to clean the water trough, check the salt block, and pour some fresh grain... A normal work task for us, and yet...
"Mommy, can you hold my hand?"
"Look mommy! Our shadows match!"
Hi Shadow! Hi Mommy shadow!"
I just want to hold onto her hand and these moments forever
I hope today you have lots of wonderful little moments that make your Friday a very heart-filled Fri-YAY indeed.
Always,
Amelia
