 We have a special announcement this Puppy Picture Monday.... 
 We have NEW puppies!!!!!
 And by new, I mean NEW NEW to Yesteryear Acres!

We are introducing a new breed to Yesteryear Acres and we could not be more excited.

Growing up at Yesteryear Acres means my heart belongs to animals. I feel beyond grateful for my life, for my family, and my sweet doodles. I've spent my life watching families get united with their furry best friends. Every time it is magical. I get goosebumps seeing the looks on human and doodle faces as they begin their FURever together. So when we get the request "Do you have anything smaller?" Or "I just can't do a bigger dog." I was always so sad. Everyone should be able to have a dog to love. Heck everyone should be able to have an animal to love! It's why we found our hypoallergenic Devon Rex Cats! We are passionate about families having furry family members! We will not do mini doodles as they require using a miniature or toy poodle which is not a good fit for families with young children. Little poodles tend to be WAY more persnickety in their personalities and favor only one human and it's never the tiny ones. They just are not kid friendly. We want people to have a loving small dog, not a tiny menace. After extensive research for a small service dog for William, we found so many wonderful things about the Havanese breed. They are: compact but hardy, loyal, social, sweet, intelligent, hair instead of fur which puts them into the hypoallergenic category, calm, cuddly, and absolutely devoted dogs. When Yesteryear Acres chose a Havanese to be William's service dog I was HOOKED. I knew this is what I have always waited for. The PAWfect small dog for families who want/need a small dog in their lives and I was ready to add them to our program. We did all our research and imported two world champions from Europe.

Meet Kipper! 

He is named after our very first poodle who helped start our doodles when I was a little girl

He's equal parts playful to couch potato

Gentle and patient

and so very loyal. 

Kipper is the BEST boy and we love him so much.

AND Meet Phoebe!

Phoebe is a kind soul that immediately warmed all our hearts.

Phoebe is always incredibly nurturing

And ready for a snuggle

Unless it is snowing and then it is time for catching snowflakes!

Phoebe gives "I love you so much" eyes 24/7 and I feel so lucky to have her in our family.

 Our Havanese integrated themselves into our family with NO hesitations. They love our cats. They love our Doodles.  They love babies and toddlers.  They love us! Their clownish behavior brightens each and every day. For the past year plus, our new little shadows have shown us how wonderful it is to have both sizes of dogs. I like to say I have my big hoover vacuums and my little dust busters. You never know what size you need for highchair duty and clean up!

Kipper and Phoebe are now the proud parents of our new little Havanese Puppies! Come back tomorrow for the CUTEST puppy pictures that will melt your heart!!!!!
