I received the most incredible handmade present from my daughter Abigail this Christmas!!!!
The Fiercest of Dragons!!!
She made this magnificent piece out of fabric!!!!!
She "drew" her dragon picture with an exacto knife into insulation board
and then painstakingly began to insert and press fabric scraps into the board
How she was able to create this vision in her head is just unbelievable
Slowly the background of the dragon takes shape
Time to create the dragon
I love the scrap pieces she chose for the head
and body
so close....
The dragon is complete!!!
Now to add the beautiful fabric frame pieces
Amazing.
I love it so much.
I have it standing by my bed to watch over me.
