I was taking care of our kittens and puppies when I heard "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY!!! LOOK!" And as a parent, you know that much 'Mommy' repeated with loud enthusiasm can go 1 of 2 ways... Super exciting awesome SOMETHING that we ALL agree IS exciting. OR Super exciting awesome SOMETHING that MOMMY does NOT agree on as exciting and wonderful. Case and point- the other day Hazel said exactly -"MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY LOOK!!!"- and proceeded to show me her hand with an "ant" that was most definitely not an ant but a stinkbug trying to escape with its life *barf smelling city for hours*. So with much trepidation I got up and turned around and was surprised by something indeed super exciting awesome AND definitely wonderful.
"Look what Grandpa picked for me!"
Hazel's very first bouquet
A handful of love <3
One very happy Grandpa's Girl
And so we brought home Hazel's bouquet of wildflowers and set up a vase in the most prime location of the house, right in the kitchen where Hazel eats.
Thankfully the flowers passed all inspections
And before bed, Hazel gave her flowers her most beloved lovie 'Hop Hop' so they wouldn't be lonely until she saw them again in the morning.
*Sniff Sniff*
Thank you for being the most wonderful Grandpa ever Mr. Yesteryear Acres!! <3
We love you
Always,
Amelia
