 Thank you Veterans.  We are forever indebted for your faithful service and the many many sacrifices you make for our country. We are the land of the free because of the brave.  Thank you for your bravery and your dedication.

Thankful for the Marine Corps

 Happy 245th Birthday to the United States Marine Corps! We are so thankful for the endless devotion of the Marine Corps to our country.  

We are particularly thankful for our two favorite Marine Corps Captains.

They give their all to keep us safe.

We are so incredibly grateful that these two Marines found each other

and cannot wait for their little baby Marine to arrive!

Recently we started adding videos of our puppies to the blog and I just love our cute little Doodle puppy movies. Austin is the official videographer and it is as much fun to make the movies with him as it is to watch them!  We are so thankful for our Doodle Puppy Movie Stars!!!

Thankful for YA Studio

 I am so thankful for all the hard work that went into creating our YA Studio. It was a family effort led by Mr. Yesteryear Acres who somehow knew that we would love quilting and sewing and creating long before we even dreamed of it. What used to be a bedroom and a kids' playroom is now the home of YA Studio and every single day I am so grateful to create and design and let my artistic side free.

Two years ago the dream began!

 Meal time is always a special event here.  We put the effort and time into making our meals from scratch and we are thankful for every delicious bite.

Thankful for Doodle Helpers

 Doodle Doggies make the very best helpers ever.  They are always there to lend a helping paw whenever you need them. They also know how to give the very best hugs and snuggles which makes everything better. Some Doodle Doggies go one step further and become Official Therapy Doodles.  They take their jobs seriously and bring comfort and joy wherever they go. Here is a note from a Yesteryear Acres Therapy Doodle Puppy in training at his place of work in a Nursing Home.

Hiiii!!!

Today I had my first official on site training to be a therapy doggie!!! I did SO well! Everyone loves me (of course!) and I got so many cuddles! Mom told me there is only ONE place that therapy doggies can never ever go and that's the dining room. That's the BEST smelling room! But I listened to my mom and I waited, boy was it hard to wait... but look at me!!! I'm such a good doodle doggie!

 We are so thankful for all the space we have here for our Doodle Doggies to run and have fun.  We have acres and acres of fields and woods and our doggies get to go off-leash and have just the best time ever.

 Today is Election Day and we are thankful we have the right to vote.  We are thankful we are given the opportunity to effect change. We are also thankful that 2020 is on track to have the highest voter turnout in over a century!

Scrunchies from the Studio

 We have been working on several projects this week in the YA Studio.  Many of them can't be shared on the blog because we don't want to ruin any surprises for the recipients. We have a couple of Christmas orders in the works as well!  SEW many cute things are happening!
