Happy 34 Years!

 Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I celebrated 34 years of marriage today!  Our Wedding Anniversary often comes and goes without much fanfare.  Many of our anniversaries are spent processing sweet corn from the garden! Today we had a list a mile long of chores that needed done and we started our work day as we normally do.  Halfway through the day - our kids came over to take over the chores so that Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I could do something fun!  

We went on a 13 mile bike ride together!!!!

Mr. Yesteryear Acres works so hard every day -

 it was so nice just to have fun together!

Caturday in the Y Acres Studio

 Our Devon Rex kittens are unlike any cat we have ever had.  They are literal love bugs.  They just love to be with you every second of the day and night. 

When we finally sit down at night - this is what my lap looks like:

 Devons are never happier than when they are ON you purring away contentedly. In order to enjoy our Devons' company while still managing to do our chores, Amelia made a Devon Rex Kitty Cat Snuggle Carrier!

It's the perfect snuggly for kittens!

No hands needed

With plenty of room for a friend!!!

Froggy Goes Swimming

Our Grandson William went for his first swim!!!!

He LOVED being in the water!

Which made his two swimming parents very happy!

Evidently he inherited their love for the sport

This is awesome!

You are right Agnes!  We are going to need to pick a lot more!

Tonight's fun...., blanching and cutting the corn off the cob and then packing the corn in quart containers. We will be thanking ourselves for all our hard work this winter!!!! For now... back to our corny good time!
