Canning Fest Continues

 The Yesteryear Acres garden is still in full swing.  We are spending our days and nights trying to process all the deliciousness from the garden.

This morning, yet again, I was greeted by rows of green beans ready to pick

So many beans

Looks like I might have missed a few last picking!

Another full bushel of beans picked!

Another load of tomatoes ready for winter!

And if we weren't busy enough

Time to make homemade applesauce!

Midnight Apple Fest happening tonight!

The Growing Tails of Ruby Lou: Fall Fetch

Fall is starting to show up at Yesteryear Acres!

Our trees are starting to display some peek-a-boo Autumn colors

Which means it is Ruby Lou's first Fall! She weighs 44.0lbs this week!

With leaves starting to show up on the ground, Ruby is having a hard time staying focused on the ball during fetch. So we enlisted the help of her two brothers to lead the way!

Alright guys!? Ready...

First round goes to Maverick!

Ruby says, "I see... so the ball is still there even when I see other things on the ground I would like to munch on... Okay I got this!"

Ready!? Round Two...

Fetch! 

"Come on guys! I can help!! Wait for me!"

"Okay so I just have to stick close to Maverick and I will get the ball! I am ready!"

Midnight Tomato Fest

 We have been super busy here at Yesteryear Acres. Our tomatoes are hitting their peak and we have several bushels of ripe tomatoes to pick every day. Serious canning has officially begun!

Amelia is a tomato peeler champion!

Mr. Yesteryear Acres is king of sauce making!
