One of the many perks to also having a smaller dog like our Havanese is their never-ending lap sized love! YES Ernie McDoodle still thinks he's lap size, but 98lbs on your lap just isn't AS cozy as it could be. I frequently try to encourage Ernie to cuddle NEXT to me instead of directly ON me... but I digress.
With their PAWfect compact size, our Havanese and I have developed a bit of a hilarious routine that I am absolutely obsessed with....
It's Swing O' Clock!
Every day the Havanese watch me put Thatcher down for his nap, get Hazel ready to play outside, and when I go to grab the baby monitor, ALL tails are wagging. It is time to head outside.
And once another yard clean up from potty breaks is finished and the doggy zoomies have been released.... There is only one thing left to do
Swing time!
I don't even have to call them over! They just wait like this as soon as they see me walk towards our big bench swing
Today was Kipper's turn to swing with me first
Lulu says she does NOT remember going first yesterday
10/10 would like to go next
I would put them both on my lap at the same time, but Kipper REALLY likes to lounge during his turn
