Yesterday was my sweet kitten doodle Merlin's 1st birthday!! I cannot believe that I have already had this little ball of energy for one year! 

From the moment Ernie McDoodle picked you out and brought you to me...

And you climbed on my back, just like my past kitty cat Hemingway used to do

I knew you were family

And you have been keeping us on our toes ever since!

To my sweet kitten that would be dog

I love your adventurous spirit 

And how brave you are

The way you play with our sweet doodle puppies

But most of all, I love your kitty cat cuddles!

Exploring so much in a day requires really good naps

You never pass up a moment to cuddle with your brother Ernie

I always have room on my lap for you

It is hard work being a Kitty Doodle!

Fits SEW Perfectly

This week the YAcres Studio was busy sewing Criss Cross Apron orders.  We love making them and love how they look!

They are comfy too!

Perks of being the mom...... getting to come to the studio!

We are making sure this apron fits SEW perfectly!

These Criss Cross Aprons are on their way to 2 sisters! 

They are going to look great cooking in the kitchen together. 

And of course we spent some time coming up with a few more project ideas! 

This is the beginning of what will eventually be a quilted jacket 

And I sold my YA GO bag.....Again.  This is the 3rd bag I made JUST for me and I couldn't say no when someone wanted to buy it.

So..... 

I am working on another YA GO bag. 

Wonder how long this one will be mine?

Happy Saturday Studio Update!

Merlin Doodle

Amelia's kitty Merlin definitely does not know that he is a cat. He is 100% a Merlin Doodle.  He does farm chores, plays with puppies, walks on a leash, comes when he is called, plays fetch and loves to rough house with his big brother Ernie McDoodle. One of Merlin's favorite things is walking to the pond.

Once he is there - he prefers a better vantage point 

Oh look at the squirrel in the tree! 

and I love to watch the leaves flying by 

Don't forget the birds in the trees too! 

I've got Amelia trained PURRfectly!
