The weather sure has been feeling quite Spring-like around here this week.  It is nice not to have to bundle up in endless layers just to walk outside. The dogs have been enjoying the break from the winter cold. Sometimes they come up with their own ideas on how to spend the day.

Making Exercise Doodle Approved

Today my mom was talking about starting her weight lifting routine again. I told her that was a great idea and that I would even join her, but I had my own doodle approved routine in mind....

First, select your desired weight- I decided to go with a 69lbs model

Then, LIFT

Don't be afraid to readjust and really let the weight sink into your muscles 

It is PAWsitively encouraging to receive kisses by said weights while exercising

Then stretch

And repeat

This Little Piggy Went to the Market

Once a week our little Doodle Puppies need their nails trimmed.  Their nails grow just about as quickly as they do.

The puppies learn at an early age to relax during their spa treatments

The Growing Tails of Ernie McDoodle: First Day of Spring Walk

My sweet fluffy double doodle puppy weighs 69.0 lbs today! I think the first day of Spring has inspired him to grow like all the spring buds popping up everywhere! Ernie McDoodle and I took a nice Spring walk and worked on some off leash time. I am always so impressed with how much eye contact he gives, and how often my doodle checks back in with me- Especially now that there are so many new things to smell!

Fabric Road Trip

Amelia, Bri and I took a little Fabric Road Trip today. We went to Amish Country and shopped their many quilt and fabric stores. 

The GPS did not account for "One Horsepower" traffic

It took a little longer than we thought to get there 

But it was worth the long drive! 

Sooooo many fabrics! 

Blue Heaven 

We might have spent an inordinate amount of time going through the precut fabric selection 

We needed FOOD!  We figured this looked like a good place to stop

We were right!  

Anyone need a little Orange Blossom Honey??? 

With full bellies, we were able to continue on to more fabric shops 

We took lots of notes and can't wait to return this summer with our projects in mind, and shopping lists ready for another fabric adventure!

I heard that!

Our little Doodle puppies are 3 weeks old and their ears have opened so now they can hear us walk into the room! Little tail wags are just beginning and they are sooooo cute!
