We Missed You Sunshine

Petunia's sweet Goldendoodle puppies got to enjoy something we call sunshine! It was nice to feel the sun once again.

We can't wait to play! 

Oh this warm sidewalk feels good 

I think I will just soak up the sun 

Yeah....let's just sit here

Cuddles, Calm and Comfort

Between the Rains

We have been able to squeeze in a little outdoor recess time between the rain showers.  The conditions aren't great for playing in the yard but at least the sidewalk is fun!!!!

Happy Marchgiving

With our state now under quarantine, we have taken inventory of our freezer, pantry items, canned vegetables and everything on our shelves. We will have leftover night at least once a week to make sure not a single scrap of food goes to waste.  Tonight we decided to celebrate "Marchgiving" and we cooked a turkey we got on sale at Thanksgiving.

No "Marchgiving" is complete without homemade pumpkin pie

Tale of Two Doggies

Two Doggies went on a walk. 

One was chocolate

and one was white.

They walked through the fields and woods and created 

mud splashes and puddle swamps with each and every step.

Two Doggies came back from a walk

One was Chocolate

Disaster Movie in the Making?

When I woke up this morning, I could only assume that we were in the middle of filming a disaster movie. If the news about COVID 19 wasn't bad enough, we had a torrential rainstorm here last night. Our backyard was completely flooded, our bridge almost washed out and roads everywhere were being closed due to rising flood waters.  How is all this happening????

This was very early this morning and the rains kept coming

Roads all over town are closed 

The streets are completely covered in water

You know it is bad when pictures from your town are the headline photos for the Weather Channel App 

We won't be going this way for a while 

The flooding here is unbelievable

The sun is trying so hard to shine

I am ready for this movie to be over now.
