Sunday Smiles
Today was a day full of smiles. We have sweet new little puppies to love. We managed to get tons of things crossed off our list. And most importantly, we still found ways to make all that work fun!
Mr. Yesteryear Acres started the morning off with fresh baked
Rosemary Biscuits.
Believe it or not, we still have Rosemary hanging in there!
We then had extra help getting in the firewood!
Break Time!
Mr. Yesteryear Acres put his chef hat back on in time to make dinner.
Mmmm. Hamburger Night!
With the last few tomatoes from the garden!
And we topped the night off with roasted homemade marshmallows!!!
Definitely a new favorite!

It's Beginning to Taste a Lot Like Christmas
Every December first marks the beginning of the "25 Days of Baking." Here at Yesteryear Acres we take our food and holiday season very seriously! It MUST be filled with wonderful home baked goodies! We print out a blank calendar for the month of December and fill each day with a must bake holiday treat! Homemade caramels, decorated sugar cookies, shortbread cookies, fresh baked baguettes, pretzels, Bavarian chocolate cream pie, homemade pasta are just a few of our December treats!

It is quite a sticky project but oh so worth it!

Did Someone Say Pawliday Treats?
We love the Pawliday Season here at Yesteryear Acres! We do lots of baking, cookie decorating, Christmas Village Legos, puzzles, and tons of family time games. We also make sure all our wonderful doodles get to join in on the PAWesome fun! Ernie McDoodle says, "Did someone say Pawliday Treats?!"
