Oh Me Oh My Apple Pie

With a bag (and tummies!) full of fresh apples and the first hint of fall in the air ... it was time to get to work.

Baking of course!!

Time to make a freshly picked apple pie 

With a homemade butter crust

From the trees to our dessert tummies!

Thank goodness I had helpers make this pie!

Our apples were miles high!

A little tasty dusting

Mixed to perfection by my autumnal baking assistants

With a quick text: "We are on our way! Please preheat your oven to 375*!

Our "Oh Me Oh My Surprise Apple Pie" was ready for transport to GGs house

Now THAT smells like fall!

First round of pie and we are already missing half the pan!

Thatcher gives his first taste of apple pie 10 out of 10 stars- no forks required stamp of approval
