Time for a cat nap!!!!!

Thankfulness Day 22 - Family

Turkey Day is here!!!!!  It is time to give Thanks!!!!!  Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday.  It is a day devoted to gratitude and sharing life's blessings with those you hold dear. Every Thanksgiving we each take turns telling each other what we are thankful for and as always I am most thankful for my family.  There simply is nothing better than the unconditional love of family. A special thank you to our Son-in-Law who is deployed and far from home.  We miss him and can't wait to have him home again.
From all of us at Yesteryear Acres,
We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving
We hope you had plenty of help getting ready for your holiday
and
a loved one to share the feast!
Thank you for a house full of people that I love
Amen

Thankfulness Day 19 - Turkey Shopping

This morning my older daughter and I left the house bright and early to get all of our Thanksgiving shopping finished.  We were not the only people to think of this and I am very thankful we were still able to get a nice huge turkey for our Thanksgiving feast! The store was packed but we got everything on our list and we are definitely ready to start cooking and baking. While we were busy shopping my daughter Amelia was busy working with our two available puppies.  They are doing GREAT with basic puppy commands.  They are fast learners!
