Last Romping

 Agnes is getting closer and closer to bringing her sweet black satin Goldendoodle babies into the world. She decided to take one last romp before the official "Puppy Watch" begins!

The Growing Tails of Ruby Lou: Expert Level Achieved

 It's another Watch Me Grow Wednesday with silly Ruby Lou! Ruby weighs in at 35lbs this week. She has been minding all her manners and is being a very good girl. Her proudest moment of the week is reaching Expert Level: Corn Husker!

We have been processing corn out of the Yesteryear Acres garden for what feels like weeks now, and Ruby has been a very good helper doodle indeed!

First she takes a freshly picked ear of corn

Tips it to the side so she can grab the top

And then RUN RUN RUN

Bonus points for shaking 

And leaping

Until all the corn silk is pulled out

Then she is ready to pull off the husk

With happy tail wagging celebrations with each piece that she gets off

Ready for the next one!

A doodle's work is never done

Expert Level Achieved!

Now that's a good farm dog!

"Delicious work if you ask me!"

Another Year Fabulous!

 Today is Mrs. Yesteryear Acres birthday!!! So of course we had to make a day as special as my Mom is! We actually got to start her birthday celebrations last night, Austin and Bri spent all day cooking and made a homemade pasta bar fit for a Queen! Everything was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures! We ate everything so swiftly, including the banoffee pie! Mmmm mmm mmmmm! So you will have to trust me that it was Birthday Fantastic!

Powered by the goodness of homemade pasta, Mrs & Mr. Yesteryear Acres started the day off with a bike ride!

After all, a Birthday girl should do all her favorite things in a day!

Including a family hike

And a super Y Acres fancy coffee!

Making today the Best Day Ever!

Last and not least, the birthday girl requested fresh garden goodies for dinner that way...

There would be plenty of room for cake!!

Happy Birthday to the best Mom and my best friend! I hope you were filled to the top with love from everyone who has been lucky enough to cross paths with you!

Sweet Corn Pickers

 Spending all day in the corn patch is hard work.

There are so many rows to pick!

Thankfully many Yesteryear Acres Alumni Doodles remember their days here and are expert sweet corn pickers!!!

They also remember endless tummy rubs that come at the end of the day!

Up to Our Ears

 We are up to our ears harvesting Yesteryear Acres Sweet Corn so the 

Y Acres Studio Sunday update will have a slight pause until we are done processing our sweet corn for the year.

William's Wishes FriYAY

William loves spending the day at Yesteryear Acres.  Every day his favorite activity is feeding the fish at the pond.  We even have a little song we sing while walking back with the fish food. It goes like this:

Let's go feed the fish!

YAY!!!!

Then we walk around the pond singing

The doggies particularly love our singing adventures

but William loves it most of all
