I Workout

With it snowing, then raining, then melting, then snowing, and now half raining half snowing... It is simply too sloshy for me to take the dogs outside for a long walk today. I certainly don't want to fall, and I don't need the doodle doggies taking a mud bath either (no matter how much they like it, I just cannot deal with that much mud today). So I ask you... What is a 3rd trimester pregnant lady to do!?

The answer is....

Take 1 growing active double doodle puppy + 1 treadmill = Indoor Walk!

Yes folks, that is right!

Today I taught Ruby Lou how to walk on the treadmill!

As you can see, she was quite proud of herself

And the best part, she kept wanting to do it!!!

I am so proud of her!!

Ruby says "New tricks are delicious!"

All by herself!!!!!!

"Look Mom! I workout!!!"

Now if I could only find the same motivation for myself today! Ha Ha Ha

Always,

Amelia

The Growing Tails of Ruby Lou: I'll Stick with You

Ruby Lou loves to learn by watching others.

Particularly her big brother Ernie McDoodle

"Hmmm looks like snowy sticks are something that should be enjoyed"

"Don't mind me... I'm just going to sneak in here and have a taste"

"Hmmm, but first we need to dip it into some more snow"

"It gives it a nice frosted woody taste.""YUUUUM! You are so Right Ernie!"

"Uh Ruby.... Did I say you could have that much of MY stick?!"

"MOOOOOM! Sharing is caring isn't it!?"

There is plenty of snowy stick for both of you silly doodles!

"Yeah, as long as I get the bigger end!"

ZOINKS!

"Come and get it Ruby!"

"This is the best game ever! I'll stick with you Ernie!"

Double the Doodles, Double the Fun!

Always,

Amelia

National Peanut Butter Day

I almost made a grave error! Ruby Lou was very VERY glad that Mr. Yesteryear Acres was kind enough to inform me that today was in fact the most important day of the year.... National Peanut Butter Day!!!

Happy National Peanut Butter Day!

Because who doesn't want another excuse to give their nutter of a doodle some peanut butter

Ruby, how many licks does it take to get to the bottom of the spoon?

Let's see... "One"

"Two"

SLURP!

I guess the world will never know

"We can try another spoonful of peanut butter if you want Mom"

"I really think I can count higher than two this time! Let's try it!"

"After all that is what doodle doggies do best!"

Happy National Peanut Butter Day!!!

Always,

Amelia

Tastiest Walk of the Season

Yesteryear Acres has been turned into a giant snow globe!

What once was all muddy brown winter

Is now a sparkly winter wonderland!

We have found that the best way to enjoy freshly fallen snow is to take a walk with your best buddies!

The doodles greatly approve of this plan

"It is PAWfect for a winter walk!"

"Or a wintery gallop!"

"We need to catch up to William and his Mama"

"They find all the best trees"

"Another dog-gone beautiful snow covered tree!"

"We just love winter walks!"

"We hope it sticks around for awhile"

"It's delicious after all!"

"Mmmmm!!! It sure is!"

The tastiest walk of the season!!!

Always,

Amelia

Double the Fun Studio Sunday

We had another order for the Y Acres Studio "Birthday Bag". I have to say that making this popular bag has been super fun and we were really excited for the new fabric combination that was selected!

I just swoon for these florals with the mustard yellow gingham

Once the foam and fabric were secured, it was time to get quilting

Mustard yellow thread was a perfect choice!

But why make one bag when you can make TWO?!

Who doesn't love carrots?!?

This looks like an excellent diaper bag if you ask me!

"Eat Your Veggies" is ready to be loaded up with YAS Baby goodies!

This Birthday Bag in "Bountiful Bouquet" gives me all the happy summer vibes

Another successful Y Acres Studio Sunday!

Always,

Amelia
