We had some wonderful families visit Yesteryear Acres this weekend! Some puppies went home with their new families and some puppies met their families for some fun playtime. The weather cooperated and a good time was had by all! The puppies that are not be ready to go home until next weekend are all zonked out. They played and played until one by one, they all fell asleep. One of the families who came brought us a homemade treat of heavenly goodness. The mom baked us a chocolate bundt cake which was delicious and her son made the most delicious cheesecake ever. He is a junior in college majoring in health and science and he loves to bake. He showed us pictures of other cakes he has made and he is SUPER talented!!!! I said he needed to start his own cake business. His name is John but his mom calls him Joe - so obviously his cake company needs to be called JJ Cakes! Oh how I wish he lived closer than 3 hours away. Or maybe my waistline is super grateful I can't drive over there every day!!!

This was simply the best cheesecake we have ever had in our life. The fresh raspberries coupled with the fresh lemon zest was a flavor combination of deliciousness!!!!!
