Sweet William

Our grandson William turns 2 later this month.  He has been a complete delight and joy and brings us so much happiness every day.  William has not had an easy path so far.  He has several developmental delays and faces daily challenges. The doctors are still trying to figure out William's medical puzzle. William goes to speech therapy and occupational therapy and physical therapy and feeding therapy as well as myriads of tests and doctor visits. William has trouble eating and swallowing.  He has difficulty performing normal daily tasks.  He is still not talking and his Global Hypotonia makes it difficult to communicate. We are sharing William's story in hopes someone might have some ideas or advice to help William thrive. We celebrate every "Inch"stone with William (as opposed to milestones) and William's mom Abigail is a tireless and devoted champion in caring for him.  She spends every moment of every day helping William and William's life is full of unconditional love and support.
William has an entire family rooting for him
We make the best out of all the "scary" hospital appointments
William's smile lights up a room
And while we have a lot of moments like this
It is so we can have more days like this
If you have any advice for a toddler that faces:
Global Development Delay, Central Sleep Apnea, Global Hypotonia, Speech Delay, Oral Phase Dysphagia, and Sensory Processing Disorder (Seeker) we would be so grateful for any tips or help you can provide!
Thank you!
Love William's Family

He is so blessed and you are blessed because of him. I will lift William up in prayer that he continues to progress and grow every day ❤️
