Today is Pi Day...which at Yesteryear Acres is properly spelled PIe day. Every PIe day we celebrate the glorious mathematical holiday by baking and more importantly eating pie. Today however, our holiday was lacking a crucial element.
Did we have a delicious homemade Pot Pie?
no
A fresh baked apple pie?
nope
A choice of a delicious berry crisp, banana cream pie or pecan pie?
again....not even close
Perhaps we ventured to the bakery to purchase our pies...
no we did not
A fantastic summer Strawberry Pie!!!???
Nooooooooo!
I am sure we celebrated with my all time favorite pie in the whole world
Banoffee Pie!!!!
