Thanksgiving means so much to me because it allows all of us to pause, reflect and give thanks for our many blessings in life. It is my favorite holiday and our gathering this evening was just perfect.
As always, it is my favorite meal of the year
but more than that
it is a day full of family togetherness and love

I am thankful that homemade whipped cream
a very first bite of pumpkin pie
and very first Thanksgiving meal
filled my heart with overflowing joy and gratitude.
I am thankful for a house full of people that I love.
