The Doodle Breeder Conference continues to be full of information and continuing reinforcements of best practices for our sweet Doodle Doggies.  I feel very grateful to be here and have been taking notes so I am sure not to forget anything.

Full Day of Learning

The Doodle Breeder Conference started nice and early this morning so we could pack in a full day of learning.  We had several speakers this morning and more speakers this afternoon and they covered a wide range of topics vital to raising happy healthy puppies. I think it may be the first time I have been grateful to not get all my steps in for the day! I love learning and I love being able to do the very best for our Doodle puppies.

Hello Oregon!

I am here in the beautiful city of Portland Oregon ready to attend the Northwest Doodle Breeder Conference.  There are over 80 breeders attending a jam-packed weekend full of seminars and speakers about all things Doodles.  The sessions will cover genetics, health insurance for doggies, nomagrams, titers, and nutrition, along with lots of general animal welfare.  I am excited and ready to learn!!!!!

The ARF of Being Ernest

At 7 months old, my sweet ~little~ Ernest "Ernie" McDoodle is weighing in at 73lbs. 

"I am double the doodle!!"

His new favorite activity is going to the arboretum with his best brother Maverick 

Ernie made it all the way to the big lake 

"We did it! Cheeeeese!"

"WAIT! Was that a SQUIRREL?!"

Ernie was super brave and climbed the observation tower too!

"I've never been this tall before! "I can't believe I was just walking down there!"

I was one super proud doodle mama indeed! Ernie made sure to give a big tail wagging hello to everyone we met on the path and was very enthusiastic about all the different trails we trekked. I can't wait to take him back and explore even more with my boys!

After our adventuring, Ernie and the rest of my furry clan, politely requested an evening of cuddles and snuggles. He was one pooped puppy!

It looks like I might need to get a bigger bed!!

Birthday Boys

Today our Standard Poodle Barkley turns 10 years old and my little tiny poodle Scooter turns 14.  It honestly feels like yesterday when we brought them home so I guess time really does fly!

Our first daffodils are beginning to bloom in the woods

And the fish are making their first appearances of the year!
