Every Night the Sun Sets

Every single night the world is treated to the setting of the sun.  A beautiful magnificent sight that is often overlooked and under appreciated.  Tonight Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I quietly watched the sun slowly sink into the horizon.  We sat there holding hands and took a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature and its many blessings.  We didn't rush.  We didn't think of what was next on our chore list.  We didn't talk about plans for the week.  We just sat.  We appreciated the moment.  We appreciated life.  We appreciated each other.  We marveled at the tapestry of colors as the sun disappeared and a kaleidoscope of colors filled the sky. Taking time out to appreciate what is given to us every single day makes for a happy and grateful heart.  Thank you sunset for our beautiful moment today.
