Our newest addition Hank finally noticed the horses today.  He was quite confused by the extremely large Doodle Doggies.  He kept barking at them but they wouldn't bark back!  They wouldn't even LOOK at him.  What are these HUGE doggies????

I think we need to investigate

Doodle Ag Undergrad

Our son Austin really enjoys his Agricultural Systems Management studies at OSU.  Majoring in ASM has proven to be an excellent choice for his future endeavors and his knowledge of Agricultural practices and management has grown tremendously.  We are super proud of him! I think perhaps one of his favorite things about working towards his Agriculture degree may be his study buddy.....

Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I have long overdue doctor appointments tomorrow morning.  We are going in for our "yearly" (or rather we should have gone for the past 4 years) physicals.  We are having blood work done and we had to start fasting tonight at 7pm.  ACK!  NO FOOD!  NO ICE CREAM!  How will we survive?  Well to make sure we got extra gold stars and an extra AWESOME medical report, we made a big fresh batch of Pho with lots of fresh veggies for dinner tonight.  A special thanks to our daughter Abigail for the inspiration!!!

Inside Work

Today was a wet soggy day and absolutely not a good time for outside Doodle Doggie play. Mud. Rain. YUCK!  What to do with a house full of Doodle Doggies and one Hank pup? Inside Work!!!  We worked on training commands, a little indoor fetch, some new tricks, and hide and seek games.  Even though the weather was dreary.....inside play time was lots of fun!

Too Cold to Walk

This morning everything was frozen.  The ground. The mud.  The POOP!  Everything.   The wind was really blowing too so it just felt miserable outside.  My ears were frozen in seconds! Even the doggies thought it was cold......

As Happy As.....

Doggies require very little to make them happy.  They wake up happy.  They go to sleep happy.  They are happy when you pet them. They are happy when they sit at your feet.  They are happy just to sit and watch you eat your lunch. If only we all could be as happy as...
