Hurricane Rain

Today was a soggy soggy muddy rainy day!  Thanks to the hurricane track - we are getting soaked.  No worries though - Rain can never stop the work around Yesteryear Acres.

First we said our last goodbyes to Blue's Double Doodle Puppies 

And sent them to their new homes with one last kiss

And then it was time to work on yesterday's garden harvest 

The Yesteryear Acres Garden is in full production mode 

Any guesses what this is? 

Sheets of Okra for roasting!  

Roasted Eggplant and Vidalia Onions for the freezer 

And Fresh Sweet Corn cut from the cob.  Ready for the freezer!

Hard work now - deliciousness this winter!
