Meteorological Superhero

If you noticed a change today from hot, humid, oppressive heat to a nice cool glorious afternoon, you can thank Mr. Yesteryear Acres. Little known fact....Mr. Yesteryear Acres possesses superhero powers.  Every late Spring/early Summer, Mr. Yesteryear Acres has the long arduous task of getting the window air conditioner units installed. We store the air conditioners up in the attic and he has to carry them down, take them apart, clean them, put them back together and then put them in our windows.  It takes forever.  It is absolutely no fun.  We went for years and years with no air conditioning at all and we melted all summer so for us, Mr. Yesteryear Acres is a hero for installing the air conditioners. Just as Mr. Yesteryear Acres was finished cleaning all the units, drenched in sweat and ready to install them.......the weather changed.  Just like that.  We went from "PLEASE PLEASE WE NEED AIR" to "Nah - never mind.  It is nice outside now!"  We can all thank Mr. Yesteryear Acres for our nice cool afternoon. He is a meteorological Super Hero!  He said if you want it to rain, just wait until he is doing roof repair or getting ready to bring in the hay. Change of weather guaranteed!
