In keeping with our Labor Day weekend tradition, today we made several big batches of homemade ice cream. Of course we didn't settle for something as simple as a single batch of vanilla. Nooooooo. When it is "Ice Cream O'Clock" at Yesteryear Acres we need choices! We need a symphony of ice cream goodness. We haven't gotten the great big ice cream maker out in a while. We had been making smaller batches in our small counter top ice cream maker. Well today we brought out the big guns. One gallon of ice cream at a time! Mr. Yesteryear Acres had the rock salt and ice all ready and we started the ice cream parade. This year we made a gallon of.....
Vanilla Rocky Road - A madagascar vanilla bean ice cream with hand dipped chocolate covered almonds and marshmallows.
Maraschino Cherry Ice Cream with Milk Chocolate Bark. Maraschino Cherry Ice Cream with maraschino cherry halves and milk chocolate bark pieces.
Cookie Dough Ice Cream - Vanilla Bean Ice cream with homemade chocolate chip cookie dough chunks.
Cookies and Cream - Vanilla Bean Ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces
and
Vanilla Salted Caramel - Vanilla Bean Ice cream with handmade salted caramel.
Is it Ice Cream O'Clock yet?!?!!!! Pick your Flavor!
