Petunia's Puppies will all be heading to their FURever homes this weekend.  We have one last week to enjoy their cuteness!

Nice Day After All

This morning it was so chilly outside....I had to dig out my mittens!  I couldn't believe how cold it was.  Thankfully the dreary drizzly cold day turned around and this afternoon was lovely.

The tulips were so happy to see the sun

So was the field 

And the woods! 

The warm sun didn't last long so tonight was soup night!

Homemade Chicken Tortilla Soup for dinner 

Fresh made tortillas 

with a dollop of Avocado Tomatillo Sauce

The puppies had so much fun watching Ernie McDoodle play on the big fallen tree, they decided they could help clean up the yard just as well as Ernie!

This evening we heard a giant boom.  All the Doggies said "WHAT WAS THAT?!!!!"  We ran outside to find this:

Our cottonwood tree!!!!

It spans both sides of the creek and then some

This is going to be fun to move 

Ernie? How are we going to move this tree????
