Errand Made Fun

Today I had to leave Yesteryear Acres to go take my car in for a much needed recall service repair. The service department for the recall work is over an hour away and I was really dreading the morning because I would just have to sit in the waiting room and wait until the repair work was done before heading back home.  I woke up with dread because I really hate this type of errand.  Then the happiest thing happened...my son said if I stopped by to pick him up, he would go with me!  Instead of a day spent by myself at a car place, I got to spend the day talking with my son and the time just flew by!  When the mechanic announced my car was finished, my son and I both looked at each other in surprise. We had no idea that much time elapsed.  It was definitely the best car repair time I ever had. When I returned home
Happy faces greeted me to say
that they were glad that my car was repaired.
Now that is a good errand day!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Ernie McDoodle and Professor Maverick have been helping me decorate my home for the pawlidays! At 29.5lbs and 3 months old, Ernie believed he was big enough to lend a paw.
First thing first... I needed to decorate my Doodles!
Two decked out doodles reporting for duty!
Time to trim the tree! Which ornament is your favorite Ernie?
Gretel loves the tree skirt addition
Topped with a bow, our tree is complete!
I love the Pawlidays!
We even got the banisters decorated with coordinating bows!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
I am so excited for Ernie McDoodle's first Christmas
Thanks for all your help doodles of mine!

Happy Pawlidays!

Always,

Amelia

Where did it go?

What once was a beautiful landscape in white, has now turned into a brown muddy landscape. We have had so much rain. Even though it didn't feel like December 2nd outside, we made sure it felt like December 2nd inside.  Today was bring all the Christmas boxes down from the attic day.  That means this week we can start decorating for Christmas.
Meanwhile Mr. Bear says.........
Where did all the snow go????
It was here and now it is gone!!!!
I have to say the mushy muddy leaf bed feels quite relaxing
But I miss my snow!  Will it come back???
Let's hope so Bear!
