Caturday Heat Seekers

 This week's temperatures have certainly turned very chilly and the Devon Rex kittens would like Mr. Yesteryear Acres to know that they are patiently waiting for him to turn on the furnace.

It is PURRfectly chilly 

We need to snuggle to stay warm

even if you are trying to get dressed

and especially if you are trying to do your hair

You are the warmest place around

We will seek out your jackets

and trap you in your pajamas.

Please don't go outside!

We require your lap!

Rock the BEET!

 We have been enjoying our weekly haul of fresh beets from the Yesteryear Acres garden.  We have enough processed for the winter so now it is time to enjoy our fresh yummy beet dinners.

We only have one more row of beets left for this year!

Thinly sliced raw beets are soooooo good! We have been enjoying them in a dill lemon greek yogurt as well as putting them in our dinner salads.

No need to cook the beets!  They make for delicious salads!

Of course if you wish to cook the beets - there are endless ways to fix them!

We love fresh beet pasta!!!

 Do you know what is more fun than anything in the whole world???? William does!  He says it is visiting Uncle Austin!!!!

When I visit Uncle Austin - I get to DIG!!!!!
