The Elusive Group Photo

Each Monday we look forward to taking our weekly Puppy Pictures.  Most of the puppy pictures are super easy to take because the puppies are so adorable. I usually end up with hundreds of pictures and it is so hard to narrow them down for the blog post. The hardest pictures to take are the group photos.  Puppies aren't really that excited to all sit and stay and wait for me to take their pictures.  They would much rather go play!!! So here are the secret steps in getting that elusive group photo.........

First you must snuggle with all the puppies.

Then you must let all the puppies try to wake you up

Mr. Yesteryear Acres....WE ARE HERE!

We got him!

Then the real work begins

You have to slowly roll away from the puppy pile

without disturbing the puppies

and making sure they all stay 

right where they are

And then you must start taking pictures as fast as you can!!!!!

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 10.......and there goes #11

Let's try this again

and one more time.......

ELEVEN!

Whew!

and

now

it

is

time

for

RUNNING!

There are flowers to sniff

and leaves to fetch

and grass blades to chew

and dirt to dig

There is simply so much to get done

But most important of all

There is always time for

More Snuggling!
