Hello Rocky Mountains

I have been learning so much at the Annual Labradoodle Breeder Conference.  Today's lecture was given by Dr. Marty Greer.  She has 37 years of veterinary experience and she is active in the community as a member of the AVMA, NEWVMA, ASVBP, APDT, AAFP, SVME, ACSMA, The Society for Theriogenology and is on the Board of Directors for the Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics, American Veterinary Medical Law Association and the Society for Theriogenology. She is also president of the National Animal Interest Alliance. She is AMAZING!  I soaked in everything and would happily spend days listening to her.  She is a wealth of knowledge! At the end of the full day's lecture, we got ready to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner

when instead.....

We decided to head west and we made it to the edge of the mountain range!!!!!! 

Hello Rocky Mountains! 

Now this is the Colorado I was dreaming of!

We saw this as we were walking to the lookout point

Buffalo Bill and his wife 

No trip to Colorado would be complete without a buffalo sighting! 

And gift shop! 

I had to check to see just how high we were.  Pretty cool!!! 

We made it in time to watch the sunset

So beautiful

Slowly 

but surely 

the sun slipped

behind the mountain range

and another wonderful day

came to an end.
