Fruit for Dessert

Mr. Yesteryear Acres and I have been working nonstop trying to get ready for Christmas.  We have been so busy taking care of our Doodle Doggies and Doodle puppies that housework has been at the bottom of the priority list. The house was definitely in need of major TLC. Yesterday we spent from 2:00pm until 11:00pm cleaning and today was more of the same.  When Mr. Yesteryear Acres cleans - he REALLY cleans.  He spent hours cleaning just one bathroom. I would say something like, "How can it take you that long to clean ONE BATHROOM?!!??" but if you saw the bathroom, it is obvious as to why he was in there that long.  It sparkles it is so clean! There isn't a speck of soap scum anywhere to be found.  I love when Mr. Yesteryear Acres helps me. He is Mr. Clean!  Late last night, we were both so tired but we still wanted a late night snack.  I was debating the merits of eating so late when Mr. Yesteryear Acres brought out a pint of Black Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.  I said something like we shouldn't eat fattening ice cream so late at night. Mr. Yesteryear Acres response.......
"It's fruit!  Fruit is good for you!"
Good ole Mr. Yesteryear Acres.  Even "fruit" tastes better when shared with him!
