One Less Hour to Wait

I have to say I am not a big fan of Daylight Savings time.  I find no joy in turning my clocks forward one hour.  I struggle with getting a good night's sleep every single night and to have one less hour of hopeful sleep is dismal.  This morning when I awoke, it felt exactly like I was denied one hour of blissful sleep. Even the Doodle Doggies and the kitties were sleeping! They looked at me as if to say, "Let's Go Back To Bed!"  I held onto my dislike of changing the clocks for most of the day until I read something that said,
"For most, springing forward means losing one hour of sleep......
For a Military Family it means one less hour to wait until homecoming"
Well, with that, I have a complete change of perspective!  I love Springing Forward!  I have one less hour to wait until I see my older daughter again! I miss her so much!  My daughter has one less hour to wait until her boyfriend returns from his Marine Corps assignment later this Spring.  They have been separated for months and have been waiting since last August to get the chance to finally be together.  I know they cannot wait. I now will look at Daylight Savings Time with a new heart.  One hour less to wait until a homecoming.  That is perfect!
